The scoping conversation.
Thirty minutes with the person who actually read your record. No pitch deck, no discovery script, and no work begins until a scope and a fee are agreed in writing.
One reviewer, one call.
Not a salesperson who will hand you over afterwards. The person on the call is the person who read your record and who will write your files.
Bring three roles
Live adverts, or titles you are aiming at. The conversation is concrete or it is worthless.
Re-read your audit
Particularly the evidence page. Most of the half hour is spent on what the record does not yet carry.
We disagree out loud
If we think a target is not supported by your record, we say so on the call rather than in an invoice.
A written scope
Deliverables, sequence, revision rounds and fee, in one document, within a working day. Nothing starts before you accept it.
What this call is not. It is not a pitch, and there is no offer that expires. We do not ask for a decision on the call and we do not follow up more than twice. If the audit told you everything you needed and you would rather act on it yourself, that is a good outcome and you owe us nothing.
