For Directors & Heads
The step up, made legible.
Breadth is the strength at this level. Records tend to bury it under task detail.

Emphasis
What we lead with.
Four shifts that make the next level readable without overstating the current one.
01Breadth over task listThe number of things you hold together, stated before how each one runs.
02Decisions you already makeThe calls that are yours today, named in the language of the next level.
03One consistent storyRésumé and profile carrying the same claims, in the same order, with one voice.
04Evidence you can produceEvery number backed by a document, because this level gets checked closely.
Concerns
Three things you asked.
Usually seniority calibration: the record describes how the work was done rather than which calls were yours. The fix is not louder language, it is naming decision rights and the span they covered.
Breadth is a signal in its own right, but only when it is counted. Four functions, three sites and two systems is a structure. Written as a list of duties, it reads as a busy job instead.
Often not. Profile Foundation covers the record, the profile and the register, which is where most of the movement is at this level. Scope is agreed after the audit, never before it.
Calibration
Reading one level down.
Director records commonly score well on evidence and low on calibration.
